What Happens Next?

1. Abstract review: Submitted abstracts are being reviewed for the 2026 Annual Meeting.

2. Selection notification: Authors will be notified by Friday, Sept. 18, if their abstract has been accepted.

3. Annual Meeting registration: Accepted presenters must register for the 2026 TCACC Annual Meeting.

You do not have to wait for abstract notifications to register for the Annual Meeting.

About the Abstract Competition

The TCACC Annual Abstract Competition gives emerging cardiovascular professionals and researchers the opportunity to present original research and case reports to colleagues from across Texas. Selected abstracts will be featured during the 2026 Annual Meeting in San Antonio.

Winning abstracts and select abstracts accepted for live presentation may also be featured on the TCACC website.
